As a retro computing enthusiast, I was excited to find this iiyama 17" vintage monitor. The IPS panel actually provides decent color reproduction for its age, and the 5:4 aspect ratio is perfect for older games and applications. The beige design fits right in with a Windows 98 setup. However, the 40ms response time and 60Hz refresh rate are very dated, making it unsuitable for modern gaming. The 200 cd/m² brightness is adequate but not bright. If you're building a retro rig, this monitor is authentic, but don't expect it to perform like a modern display.
